Drowsiness detection is a project aimed at identifying when a person is experiencing fatigue or drowsiness. This is particularly crucial in applications like driver assistance systems. When drowsiness is detected, the system triggers an alarm or warning to rouse the driver and save record for latter. Algorithms analyze visual cues to detect signs of drowsiness, such as eyelid closure, and yawning.
